I haven't had the chance to get any pictures but I took my cannon out just a few minutes ago and now everytime I fire it air comes out the back end. So I wiped off the ignitor and watched the ignitor spark 10 times out of 10, sprayed in the hairspray, and tightened the endcap as much as it would go ...

Koolaidman - i think you're talking about the little wedge in the back, right? All that is is a wegde of wood with a handle on it. Spud cutter
My grandpa and I recently built a spud gun, the old fashioned hairspray kind, and were wondering is there any way to make a cutter for the spud other than just shoving it down the barrel?
