how about having a single row of holes about 10cms from the end of the barrel? would this let the gasses out without looseing mass amounts of power???

if slowly letting out the gases is "silencing" why not just drill a tiny hole near the start of the barrel, wouldnt this let out the gas?

make the cannon really big and fire scrunched up newpaper balls or socks out of it, great fun for scaring people

i was reading about our stupid gun laws some things really do need to be changed like legalisinig BB and airsoft guns but anyway combustion spud guns fall under class E which puts them with RPG's yes i did say RPG and full auto weapons, .50 cals and even howitzers! i mean come on law makers grow up....
