Fair enough. I guess we won't know what's actually in there until someone gets their hands on one of these.

Yeah, I've been to that site before. However, to build something as compact as what this guy has done, you'd almost certainly need to do "special machining" (whatever that means). To give you a little history on the X177 itself, during my airgun experimentation, I set out to design something that co...

Yeah, I know they exist. Don't most electro-pneumatic guns function like the Drozd, though? The guy said he didn't like the Drozd because it's too loud.

I'm willing to bet it's probably nothing more than a well made magazine fed "cloud" BBMG with some sort of adjustable breech detent and valve flow that alters velocity and rate of fire respectively naahh I already concluded that it must be using a solenoid valve and a timing circuit not sure if it ...

The ID of 1/2" Sch. 40 PVC is slightly under 5/8", probably close to .615. So, yes, it would fit, albeit loosely. .1" is quite a bit of slop, when you're talking about ammunition fit. That comes out to be .050 on each side, leading to blowby and power loss. If you really want to use that size, I sug...

precise measuring ustensil Rulers are for large measurments in inches and centimeters. Not hundreths of inches. Besides, if you wanted to get a somewhat precise measurement, you could just go to Harbor Freight and get a $10 digital calliper. I have one. Frankly, it's a piece of crap, but it works f...

So, basically, you want to hook up a homemade pneumatic cylinder to a lever?

Sounds terribly inefficient. Also, it has been done before, just not by anyone on this site (that I know of).

Why did you post about it if you weren't going to build it?

Re: Paintball/Conical Springer help

More or less like Nerf PlusBow, but for paintballs and a feeder. +Bows aren't at all semi-automatic...I think you're referring to the ABP5K , made by the same person. If you have an air compressor, or even a bike pump, I would recommend a simple valve hooked up to a barrel and an air tank...may be ...
