That's my only regret from this cannon - I can service it only if I break a piece off. I'll make sure my next cannon is serviceable.

I tried finding a Tee with threading at all openings, but no luck. I hear some people used a lathe to make threading but I don't have one. Any suggestions???

Thank you both for the valuable information. The cannon finally works! I got a nice 1/2" metal ball valve yesterday. Unfortunately, the fitting between my 2" plug and 2" tee didn't seal properly. I got hasty and used a plug that was beat up. Will glue that today. Probably a good thing because I forg...

ah, will do! Since I'm on a limited budget, I just wanted to make sure.

Also since this is a barrel-sealing piston, my equalization leaks out through the sides of the piston. How much of a leakage is acceptable? How easily should my piston move through?

1st Piston valve cannon help

Hello :D I'm having trouble with my first piston cannon. It's a barrel-sealing piston. I don't have pics, but this is basically it's design: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYyRp8fw_VA The only thing I changed was the piston itself. I used the hot glue padding as a object for the air in the pilot to ...

ah of course.

I'd like to make a barrel sealer with a 2" air chamber and 1" Barrel. I'm gonna utilize a a metal ball valve (probably 1"). I would like to keep the cost around $100-$150. I have access to basic tools such as a drill, vice, but nothing fancy like a lathe.

Blowgun mod and 2nd Pneumatic

I'm thinking of attempting to make my own blowgun for a sprinkler valve....Blowguns seem kind of limited due to their limited exhaust port. I know you an expand the holes in a blowgun but I thought this might sprout some new ideas. With PVC, a custom blowgun may be due able. If it is successful, the...

Specs: 2"x3' Air chamber 1" Sprinkler Valve with a standard blowgun 1" Barrel -------------------------------------------------------- Before i had a sprinkler valve, i used...

Have you heard?

You might have heard a company called AIRDRIVE Tech...Anyways i heard some information regarding a new project they are on. They are currently in the development of something they call the "PneuMAX Shot" with the intention of creating the world's strongest air cannon. It is a cannon that is equipped...

Construction Question

Hey guys this is a pretty cool site. I was wondering...I just finished a over-under sprinkler valve spud gun and it turned out pretty well. I am now interested in creating a semi-automatic gun...Can anyone give me a basic run-down on how it would look?

Hey thanks for the advice I appreciate it. I think i might have problem about the double layer whenever putting on valve. Since I have to pull the valve out from the inside, how do I get my valve in the hole in the first place? My arm is way too massive to fit inside the 2" piping. Maybe I should tr...
