three reasons i hope this is a future darwin award winner
he put the igniter in the endcap, the weakest part of the gun and then set it down on it.
He had the gun pointed at those taking the video(presumably his family)
he posted or allowed his family to post this video

Question about pipe compatability

I have heard that 3" fitting fit in 4 inch pipe for pistons or gluing. Would this also work for ammo(would it work if it was sanded down a little)? Would 2" fitting be used for the same purposes in 3" pipe? Would any pipe/fittings fit as ammo in three inch pipe?

That hose probably adds a lot of dead space. putting the valve on the moving barrel would have operated better

You should maybe use some of that sch 80 2" on your barrel, as thinwall sdr 21 might not be strong enough

gun started to leak around gauge and schrader, going to rebuild the section from the tees and back. is it normal to have problems when putting a Teflon taped metal (probably brass) thread into a pvc endcap? how should I put a schrader(from a bike tube) in an endcap?

that looks great, try to modify it for a larger amount of ammunition. Perhaps upgrade with 2 guns, maybe with each controlled seperately.

my first pneumatic gun: half inch AA chucker

this is my first pneumatic and second gun, the chamber is about 16-18" total of sch 40 pressure rated 1" PVC, but because some of it is above it is a little over 1' long. the barrel is just under 2' 6", the valve is a half inch ball valve, the schrader is from a bike tube and epoxied in with J B wel...

this design is something I drew up. when the valve is opened, the pressure pushes the outer pipe(and the part of the gun for blowback) back, until the equalization hole passes the o-ring, at which point the pressure releases and the spring pulls it back.
