Re: Golf ball distance records?
North of 1500 fps is the fastest I've gotten a golf ball up to - I imagine it would travel about as far as it could with a mean hook or slice at that point. I'm quite sure it went Mach 1+. Circa 2009, I built a GB cannon. With 700psi nitrogen, the ball reached Mach 1.04, as verified with portable m...

Re: Why does no one make 12g co2 air guns/cannons?
Hey guys, New to all this, but I'm surprised that this isn't a common source of propellant, especially with all of the quick change adapters available. Can anyone fill me in to why these designs are not more popular? You probably can't imagine how brutally expensive it is to design, manufacture and...

Re: Is spudding dead?
I haven't been here in a long time. Just dropped in to see who's still around. I hope spudding holds together and improves. Around 2010 ,one of my designs received some interest from the military, thanks to the help from another past member, "jagerbond". I stayed around for awile after, but I saw l...

Re: Show your best spudgun pics!
I figured he edited it, I was wondering why it was on his channel. Mike came over from Hawaii and did the video. He was representing the cannon to the Military and did and excellent job. Thanks to his very professional efforts, we were invited to give a demonstration at Nellis AFB, for all branches...

Maybe he married a HUGE Russian woman with 6 kids. Instead of building spud guns, he spends his days washing diapers and giving her pedicures....UGH.Gun Freak wrote:I too wonder what has happened to JSR... Maybe Canada got the best of him.

Re: Show your best spudgun pics!
I didn't understand that, but I do now....sorry. The video was shot in my shop and edited by a former member Mike Bond, aka Jagerbond, aka ultimatespudgun.com.In all seriousness I hope you know I'm joking, I've always admired your work.

Little overly-edited eh? Isn't your comment a little snarky, considering all you posted was a pic of an inexpensive pressure gauge? :D And you're right....275psi is the " Babby (sp) Tier Pneumatics". When you get into the 1000-14...

Re: I do not want to get blown up.
Lack of money in an understandable dilemma and unfortunately, it sticks with all of throughout our lives. Time or lack there of is different. If you can't control when you have some free time, then you are not in control of your life. Always take charge of your life and make time for yourself. Don't...

Only a suggestion....but if you intend to keep your hands and fingers in their original, factory configuration, you might want to think again about using CO2 with plastic components.Brad1895 wrote: The plan is to use Co2 as a power source, regulated of course.
