Scope Mount

Never mind the elevation adjustment in the pic below. If you look at how the scope is mounted to the adjustment you'll see that all it is just a piece of flat bar with 2 spacers. The bar is cut to the width and length of the scope mount.

1" Piston

The one shown below is made from a piece of scrap plastic deck lumber made with the plug from an 1 3/8" hole saw then sanded to fit with a sander placed upside down in a vise. I put the dowel through the plug and sander spun the plug giving a smooth round shape. Total cost including the hardware was...

Asco valve

I have an Asco 12 volt valve available that could be converted to pneumatic control. If I recall without looking its 1 1/4" maybe 1" at the smallest. It you ask me though you may be going into more trouble then you need. I launch 8oz paint grenades with the RPG shown below over 200' at angles of les...

Power Pack

Since this thread is already started I thought of using it as a construction log of my gun in order to receive advice from advance builders or as a guide for others. Before continuing any further with the MGL, I decided to take the power pack for a test ride and check for leaks. We shot about 250 ro...

With stock on

Below is with the stock on. The power air set up is from a post by PCGUY featuring the use of a slider valve for semi operation.

Trigger Installed

I managed to install the trigger today. Below is a pic of the power works. The 1/4" nipple to the right of the trigger is where the contol air is going to tap in.

Yes it is semi-auto using air or co2. I'll post details once it's done. Just got back from vacation and still working on it.

I like it. What's the rating on your valve? When the 200 pops on my RPG everyone around jumps. I can definitely see good potential for a strong shooter with a 200 psi valve going off with 250 behind it. Nice thinking. I'll be joining those giving it a try. I would think you could also control rate o...

Milkor sight

I get it now. Below is a pic of what I'm going for, just with a different approach. Unlike a rifle, as the elevation is increased the head is raised to keep the line of site on the scope. The soldier in the pic looks like he has his set at around 15 degrees or so.

I guess I don't know. The centerline of the scope is 4" above the top of the barrel. At 25 degrees the red dot appears where the bead of a shotgun would be.

Nice drawings and that drop forward is pretty slick.

This site is fully adjustable at all angles up to 30 degrees including 0-5. there is just a set click at certain angles. My driveway is 600' long and we are already shooting spuds into the neighbor's cornfield across the road from our deck. I am expecting the gun I'm working on now to be a bit more ...

Fully adjustable piston valve.

What started out to be a simple tool to measure the depth from port to the back of the valve assembly ended up being a fully adjustable piston valve. The pics below show it with a metal rod but I intend on replacing it with nylon before placing it in the gun for trials. The valve is 1" with a 3/4" p...

Elevating scope mount

Below are some pics for a thumb operated self-elevating scope mount. The range is from 0 to 30 degrees. There are notches cut out at 5-10-20-30 degrees that click at those points so you can tell by feel without looking what elevation your at. It's mounted on the top barrel support for the 7 shot sem...

Very nice.

Guns that can be carried can be much more practicial. I really like your design. Perfect for water or paint ballons. You may want use your money on a 12volt inflation pump rather then CO2. Even if you have your own fill tank CO2 has allot of drawbacks and can be rather expensive.
