I'm kind of new to pneumatics and with school I havnt had much time to work on this project. So I don't really have a good idea yet on what valves I will be using, but yes I'm hoping I can construct a semi-auto gun. Sorry I couldn't answer your question. I am looking to use a paintball tank either co2 or compressed air.

Hey, Does anyone know what kind of valve I would use for this situation? I want to fill a chamber to a set pressure. Once the pressure is released from the chamber, the valve would allow air to enter the chamber and fill it to the set pressure again. I appreciate any advice or help you have Thanks

I defiantly want it to be portable, but it doesn’t have to be tiny. An attached paintball tank wouldn’t bother me at all, but I don‘t want to be walking around with a fire extinguisher or scuba tank. I’m looking at using 1.5” spherical projectiles as ammunition, specifically miniature tennis balls ....

How many shots per minute could a hybrid cannon reach with a mix of 5x of MAPP without getting too hot?

I want to construct a high powered cannon with a decent rate of fire and am unsure if I should go pneumatic or hybrid.

Any advice??
