What is the best valve to use in an airgun???
Hey guys, I am looking to build a new airgun soon, and I was wondering what is the best valve design to get the most power?
Also maybe can you list some different types of valves and their pros and cons. Thanks.

need help with an electrolasis machine, hydrogen gas gen
hey guys, I have been looking into making electrolasis devices for producing hydrogen gas for various projects such as: Hybrid gun fuel, torches, etc. I have been looking around for some intermediate to advanced information on the subject and mostly all I can find is beginner stuff. I have just foun...

O.K. thanks for all your inputs, I planned on using wire from a flyback transformer which is rated for 25 or 30kv. Actually I think my spark gap is smaller than 1/16" but I know it's not larger, I can't measure it since it is currently installed in my chamber. Hey Poland, what voltage input do those...

need High voltage ignition for hybrid, modified stun guns?
Hello I am still working on my hybrid, and I am looking for a small battery powered ignition system. My hybrid will be hand held and is pretty small, so I need the ignition device to be small as well. Stun gun internals would work great, but I have tried stun guns in the past and I had a hard time w...

Burst disc calculation help
Hey guys,
I know I've seen this on here somewhere bu I can't seem to find it.
How do you go about calculating the thickness of your burst disc to go with your burst pressure rating?
Thanks.

Lockednloaded is correct, I forgot to mention the detent, but thats kind of a given. I was originally going to mount the clip on the bottomside of the gun in front of the handle, It worked flawlessly with a pipe nipple and the gun upside down, using gravity to feed the bb's, fired as fast as you can...

My first airsoft gun. Semi-auto tightbore 500fps
Well Guys here she is. My first airsoft gun project. It is semi-auto using the typical QEV and 3 way valve setup. I have incorporated a power adjustment from low to high power (300-500 fps) By using a ball valve inline with my air chamber, great for choosing between sniping and close combat. Or if y...

Need help with airsoft clip ideas
Hi guys, I am having trouble caoming up with a good clip or magazine idea for my custom airsoft gun, I don't pics yet but will try to get some up soon. My barrel is a Mad Bull 6.03 tightbore, I drilled a hole in the barrels side for the bb to enter and have fitted the barrel into a brass fitting and...

Whoa, hey guys, Internet was down for a few days. Yes the input is 1/8" npt, mine was a little smaller than normal though, so I ran my tap through it. Just make sure you get lined up right before you run it down. I used ptfe thread tape on my fittings. Yes the up stroke does become more difficult af...

Yeah I was surprised at how quick it was to pump the tank.
And it will be even quicker if you use a pressurized input.
here is a link for the pump.

well..... I would say maybe 30-45 min just counting pumping time. Cause you would have to give it a break every 5min. To let the pump cool down. I have a 48ci tank. I'll fill it to 2000 psi and let you know how long it takes:) Any recorded times on this? I'd just like to know before I get one Yes I...
