I figured it wouldn't work, just wondered if anyone tried something like it.

PNeumatic Innertube lining

As we all know, pvc can be explosive under the right pressure; has anyone ever tried lining the inside with an innertube of some sort? Therefore, if the pressure limit is exceeded, the pvc can crack but not explode.

Good work; how well does the hopper seal? Any leaks?

As obvious as this sounds, have you tride squeezing the connection between the pump adapter and fill valve? Mine leaks to but stops when pressure is applied.

Looks great- simple like mine! What PSI do you expect to take it to?

UPDATE

Though it isn't a super high preformance gun(compared to others), I LOVE IT! At 100 psi it goes about 75 yards with a ton of power left! That's fine for a first.

My first newmatic(pun intended)

Chamber-SCH40 3"x3'
Valve-Modified Sprinkler
barrel-SDR26 2.5"x4'

I know a supah valve would more than double preformance, but there is always next project!

I looks pretty flimsy. I wouldn't take it above 50PSI

Ok, that makes sense. Does performance really change that much with dead space?

Dead space as in the gap between the 2 barrels? They're designed to twist together.

Or did you mean dead space because the barrel is far from a valve? If you meant that, it's just a crude drawing, the valve would be a QEV <an inch behind the pellet.

The rifle Im building will have a gutted stock of a Daisy Red Ryder only re-using the barrel.
