joining qev to a slide valve

i just bought a cheap qev and slide valve off ebay. I think i made the mistake of buying the one of the cheapest ones i could find to handle the pressure. any way the problem i have is the slide valve has the standard 1/4bsp fittings (one male and one female) and the qev has three female fittings ar...

thanks all the suggestions were more than i could think of. i had a bit of a look and the best bet in my opinion is brewing or aquarium tanks
I still prefer it this way.

combustion cannon

i built this a couple years ago now but only just started using syringe fuelling and a piezo to ignite it. roughly 1.2m barrel, 7.6L chamber and 5.3L Barrel. Ive been shooting 600ml coke bottles filled with water wrapped in a bit of electrical tape but i just discovered a wine bottle fits the barrel...

come to think of it i do agree with you the best thing about this gun is its simplicity adding check valves and burst disks would just ruin it

nice and simple i like it. im not great at these things but im guessing if you used a syringe and butane or propane you would be able to shoot a little further. i wonder if the lightercasing would be able to take 2x or 3x mixes?

Im hoping for it to go to 400psi and i tried drilling a hole and epoxying it in place but it ...

my home chrony

i don't know if this has already been discussed here but whenever i make a gun or anything i just stand exactly 10 or 20 metres away from a wall and record the sound of the shot. i normally use coll edit pro but most sound programs should do it. you can then see the peak of the projectile leaving th...
