Digital pressure gage for hybrid fueling
Hello, Does anyone any experience with (chinese) digital pressure gages for hybrid fueling? I would be using oxygen/propane mixture with highest ratios easily achievable (yes, my upcoming hydrid can handle that) Would something like this chinese meter be accurate enought? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bat...

Re: Hybrid won't fire
Okey I will give it try I will upload results here. Two layers of soda can aluminium probably makes good burstdisk for 6x on 1" union but probably best way to find good burstdisk is by testing.
But anyway thanks for helping I greately appreciate it

Re: Hybrid won't fire
Now I got it firing with aluminium burstdisk and it did fire pretty well (I think :D ). But when I tried harder burstdisk (metal part from springless can 0.2mm thick) mixture did burn but burtsdisk didn't break. I believe that my mixture isn't powerfull enought to break anything harder than aluminiu...

I'm using manometric meter and it's volume is aprox 33 cubic centimeters including hose from propane tank. That black/gray thing top of the propane tank is regulator. Chamber volume is aprox 400 cubic centimeters. http://i1373.photobucket.com/albums/ag398/c0ff/IMG_3036_zps3981ac5a.jpg Gauge close-up...

Hybrid won't fire
I got bit of problem with my hybrid, I won't get it fire. Propane burns but it won't be powerfull enought to break burstdisk. I get it fire once with 6x mix so it was 5 bars of air and 25 kpa of propane but I had no luck getting it fire after that. Burstdisk I used was few layers of aluminium foil. ...

Re: Car battery powered air compressor
Hi, Lets say that your compressor is draving 2A @ 230v so it is 500w copmressor. That means you need 700w AC converter to be on safeside. If you have four 100Ah 12v batterys each of them holds 1200w so with 4 batterys you have 4800w So if you run your 500w compressor for one hour it takes 500w/h and...

Re: O-Rings in combustion cannons
I don't think so,
Combustion is quite hot but fast.
If you don't believe me make small test cannon and put O-Ring inside then will you know.
