Re: Beeman P22 Project
Any reason to switch over to .22 caliber? Will the longer barrel/heavier pellet create less noise? I've had a beeman p17 for a while now, but shooting it in my backyard is kinda noisy.

Re: Is spudding dead?
Well, it's been a year since I've been on here, because I've been too busy with school and work. Sadly I've lost interest in spudding because of the lack of space, time, and money. I'm going off to university soon. I mean in two months or so, I'll be old enough buy an actual firearm, so why bother m...

Re: Using 350psi on a 150psi rated Quick Exhaust Valve
It's ok to use 350 psi. The worst thing that could happen would be the diaphram getting blown out.

Re: 300 psi pneumatic, a couple questions
Welcome to spudfiles! Are you sure the PVC can handle it? I never seen a 2" PVC pneumatic hold 300psi lol. Nighthawkinlight has a good tutorial for beginners on YouTube. Google "coaxial" and his name. Good luck!

Just don't use very large volumes. If you live in the US, I can send you mine for 25 dollars shipped, just PM me.

By the way, you should have posted this in the official machinist thread. You can buy a qev on ebay that exceeds your requirements, and it's cheap.

Re: QEV and blow gun as pilot question.
I would just bring the fittings to a hardware store, and see what will fit. You can find schrader valves as tire valves at, well, any store that sells car stuff. You should get a decent chamber, a soda bottle isn't going to hold much pressure.

Re: 9mm Coaxial airgun
You can make a stirrup pump, or salvage a fridge compressor in order to reach higher pressures.

It would be too tedious, and I already ordered a replacement.

I don't think job weld is going to hold. It is pretty detailed and you guys are right, it will be cheaper to just purchase it. I found a website called jgairguns that has the part I wanted. A bit more expensive than I thought though.

Re: The Offcial Machinist Thread: Revised 01/04/2014
I was trying to remove the trigger pin from a crosman mark 2, but I broke the sear. Anyone have an idea where to get another one? Would it be cheaper for someone to machine it for me?
Edit: I'm going to tediously apply jb weld.

Viva la revolucion! By placing the original pen's nib into the muzzle, it can actually write! I went up to 400 psi 3 times, but then it started leaking

Re: Trigger Mechanism, will it work?
Sure it will work. I think someone on the airgun forums suggested the same setup. Make sure your chamber can withstand the pressure. Why not use a regular hammer valve or qev though?

Re: BBMG Propane Air Rig Build
Propane is cheap, but air is free. If you are only using pressures below 150psi, you might as well just stick to a backpack air supply or something like that.
