Re: dual sprinkler valves not sealing
Ok, I got another orbit 8 screws valve and its fine. I could not get the jar top orbit 1" to work. I'm sure I could have eventuly fixed the problem, but I really wanted two of the same model valves anyway. For anyone reading that has this problem the solution should have been remove the guide pin an...

Re: dual sprinkler valves not sealing
nope, still not sealing even if i block the barrel. There are two different valve types/models. Both are 1" orbit, but one has the solenoid in the center, and the other is offset. I could not get the same type again. there is a guide pin in one valve . Should iit be removed. Any more thoughts?

schraeder valve in the chamber. I'm on my way now to get some fuel line or oil line at autozone rated for 125 psi. I'll post some pics in a few minutes. I'm sure it's the hose, though. One of the valves worked as a single.

I made a barrel by sleeving 2-1/2 with 2" I cut a piece out of. It worked great but I do not encourage anyone to ever build one. It was way to much work. I probably meesed up the pressure rating of the sleeve too.

Re: new sabot idea
already made a hot wire cutter, but the first test just shredded the foam. I'm going to try solid fizzie sabot, citric acid, baking soda, and kaolin clay. 1 part citric to 2 parts baking soda, and'll ad clay for dried hardness. I will post results as I get them. What this makes is a bath bomb that d...

dual sprinkler valves not sealing
I converted my orbit sprinkler valve canon to two valves. the two pilots are connected with 3/8's hose, and a tee plus airgun. Is it my poor hose choice? I just realized clear 3/8's may not hold pressure at all.

new sabot idea
My GF actually came up with this. I need to launch bait and lead, and ice is just too much work, melts, etc. I was making up some easier to use molds from silicon when she suggested a section of dense foam with the fishing line threaded through it. the bait would sink and the foam sabot would not re...

Re: Multi-shot candy launcher
I'd like something a little cooler than a slide valve, and I'd rather build than buy, I;m thinking about making a solenoid activated spool valve with two ports. I know, that is a 3/2 DCV almost. I can't find any examples of anything but commercial DCVs or Slide Valves

Re: 1/2" QEV + 1/2" Slide-valve - first multi-shot build pro
I made one of these from comercial parts for the QEV and slide valve. I don't know how long your barrel is, but I think about 6" of 2" PCV pipe, one end caapped and the other end reduced to go where currently you have the hose connected to the QEV. Connect the hose to the open end of your slide valv...

Multi-shot candy launcher
I need to build a few candy launchers, which will use a sabot (plastic cup) and be fired veriically to avoid any gobstopper projectile injuries, or the occasional 500 fps jelly belly punching holes in the neighbors kids, however much I may want to. basic mechanism with be a commercial or home built ...

Just wanted to say very nice work, Any design that simple takes a genius to develop!! I may to build an air version. If I can get each cylinder to charge with air
