Yes, but the Visafire system was useful because they were using a stungun. You would really be losing the distance that electric arc could travel in the chamber (and therefore the ignition energy).

I would advise going with a stungun - but ONLY IF YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT SAFELY!

Nice piston valve - I built one just like it. And yes, it was powerful. The piston inside it was too massive though. The valve stops weren't enough. Unfortunately it exploded on me and pieces of it went everywhere - even over top of my 2 story house. I survived with miraculously only a cut to the ch...
