Search the site or browse the how to forum, there is a excel sheet that allows you to calculate how much co2 you need for specific pressure.

Have a look at this, it might help you harness the n2o into useable form, it is actually made for co2 but it might work with those canisters. http://www.rap4.com/paintball/os/thunde ... -1868.html see the last two pics

I also have some of these lying around, the iSi one made in Austria weigh 28 grams, consisting of 8 grams of Nitrous Oxide and a 20gram steel cylinder. I have been looking on to some options from this site: http://www.co2pros.com and here is some info on an 8gram cylinder : http://www.co2pros.com/ca...

nivekatoz, firstly very nice gun, clean and functional, If you add a spring to the other side of the pop off to increase the pressure at which the valve pops, you might be able to increase the power slightly, a catch might also work, a sort of trigger assembly, also last idea is if you reduce barrel...

I tried free running with a few of my friends, But we got picked up by the cops, this senile old lady thought we had stolen some thing from her yard, I used to me high jump champ at school, with less than 3m running space i can clear 1.5 meters easily, up to a maximum of about 1.8(if its a wall/gate...

You live my dreams...It has become your reality... I am however fascinated by this vertical piston idea... it might just be the answer to my nightmares of trigger position vs ergonomics... Sorry I meant to beg for a cross section, be it paint or hand drawn just to put my mind on the right track... O...

Stainless steel/ Aluminium inline valve ?

I need some input, I would like to build a inline style rifle, with a all stainless steel barrel, and chamber, looking to run pressures of about 200psi, off regulated co2, i would like it to have an inline valve, for obvious trigger position, and ergonomic reasons, looking at either a 1/4 inch or 1/...

At least your topic is neat and orderly and has good grammar. I agree, If you want to go for an even more portable design, try to acquire a small camping stove and unscrew the burner part, you'll be left with a valve and the stem that the jet screws into, I think the standard thread size is 1/4" an...

I suddenly feel the urge to go on a part shopping spree, I have always wanted to build a co2 powered launcher, and now I can, just excuse me for doing this, "WOOO HOOO"

I will now sincerely apologize for possibly the most ambiguous suggestion ever, the idea behind the epoxy : At the part of the blow gun where the trigger makes contact with the plunger in the blowgun valve assembly, it is possible through using epoxy to allow the plunger to be depressed fully with a...

Looking good there might I suggest you turn the blow gun, to face forward, and put a drop or 2 of epoxy in the blowgun so that it exhausts some what quicker. I can see the front of the cannon just begging for a fore grip. and a mock sight couldn't hurt.

The ammo you are using is not dissimilar from the shot put balls we used in athletics, dangerous things when given to idiots, and how i would have loved to witness a 3lb ball flying through the air, maybe you should make an epoxy cast of it, and use the mould to cast say plaster, or even silicone wo...

Oh sorry  i assumed that because on "overkill" you mention a soda stream reg, When i measure the diameter of the pin valve on the SS bottle its +-20mm, so my question really is do paintball tanks and SS tanks have the same thread size. I phoned the local paintball shop, which is an hour and a ...
