Yeah I use an electric BBQ ignitor. The ones you put a battery in. Also there is a chamber fan and I do get a lot of power from this cannon. I agree though a smaller but longer barrel would be better.

I have been doing some field tests and the results are really wierd. Maybe it's just me. I have a .88:1 C:B ratio combustion launcher. This is one of my first combustion cannons. It features a 4" SCH 40 chamber @ 18.5" long with a 3" SCH 40 barrel @ 36.5" long. It also has direct propane injection. Let me know what everyone thinks.

Help with propane injection
I just finished building your propane injection system and my cannon fires but it is really weak. My chamber is 4" SCH 40 and 18" in length. I tried counting to 30 seconds but the combustion is so weak it barely shoots out anything. I mean it does ignite but the combustion is real weak.
