Right now, we are debating the reservoir size. It will probably be a cylinder about 1.5 meters high and .75 meters diameter. We are also debating whether to use 1 tank for mixing, and one tank for heating, or combining them. Even if we don't mix with the pump we will need it for circulation. Stick a...

Thanks.

The pump will be pumping oil from the bottom of the reactor, to the top, helping mix the base with the oil.

Could you elaborate on the syphon? I'm pretty new to this stuff.

Pump help.

I need an electronic pump for a biodiesel reactor I am making. I need some input. The pump must be able to attack to PVC pipe, and must not clog when oil (very viscous I might add) flows through it. I've been looking at pool pumps, but I don't know exactly where to start. I've also looked at spa pum...

That's a picture of me at an Op. The gun is a DBoys AK74 with real steel Romanian wood.

I use propane in my gas blow-back airsoft gun, and the smell is only a problem inside. Outside it dissipates almost instantly.

If you really don't want to make a vortex block you could make a cloud.

I built a floating arm trebuchet last year for a competition. It had top fit in a 60cm by 100cm box. With a 3km counter weight it could throw a golf ball 33 meters with 1ft by 1ft accuracy. I may be able to post pics sometime.

I like how you use the rail from a g36c, but I think it would look better if you moved it back just a little bit.

Yea I already decided to put a plastic rectangle with a threaded hole in it over the hole in the barrel. I would then screw in a bolt with a piece of rubber on the bottom making it adjustable. http://profile.imageshack.us/user/bob_hogan/images/detail/#466/hopuphq8.jpg -Note that this picture was mad...

If I do plan on making a bbmg with hop up i will probably make the hop up myself (Cut hole in top of the barrel and add a rubber piece). You are right, a standard airsoft hop up unit is probably not made for that type of ROF.

Airsoft Hop up on bbmg

I have seen many videos of bbmgs and vortex guns. In all of the videos the bbs seen to drop down rather quickly. I was wondering if a standard aeg hop up unit would work on a bbmg/ vortex to increase the range, or if the high rate of fire would have a negative effect.

Thanks,
Tom

I made something very similar except I used a real airsoft barrel. What I did was wrap about a cm of Teflon tape around the barrel. Then I just threaded the wraped part into the smaller threaded part of the blowgun.
