Ok so after some of the responses (one suggesting I mis-read Oxidizer as Oderizer . . . . c'mon, I'm not looking at a Febreze can) I went back to Home Depot to take pictures of the tank which I poasted to my original. As you can see, the label clearly says "OXIDIZER" and it appears the tank is divid...

"New" Fuel Has anyone seen / used this?

I was kicking around home depot (buying my new Bernzomatic torch head to cut and thread for my injection system) when I spotted this. This is the new Bernzomatic Quick torch. That little can on the bottom is the question. After doing some digging I've discovered the torch runs on propylene. Fine. Ex...

True blue jimmy. . . Real fuels will almost always work better than something else designed for something else . . . But You have to admit . . . Tag DOES make your chamber smell good!

I can definitely see why you'd prefer to buy "online" as opposed to Ebay.

Static Guard dude. I'm a huge fan of it. It's cheap, works well, won't gum up your chamber, doesn't release clouds of noxious smoke (bug spray) when you open your chamber, releases static from your dress pants too. I think the pants thing may have been an afterthought to the static guard people it w...

All my guns are (except for my current project) is cell core PVC. (I know you're asking about ABS but I'll get there.) I know of just 2 failures in the last 8 years with ANY of my guns (12). 1 was because the barrel was dropped on concrete and probably fractured first. 2 was because the user thought...

Hairspray?!!! HAIRSPRAY?!!! BLEEECCCCCHHHHHH!! Sticky nasty evil good for nothing other than making hair sticky and nasty. Dude, I live on spray and pray spud guns (as far as my spudding is concerned). I didn't do the math out on your cannon, c:b ratio and all that, but all my guns are S&P with a BB...

chinnerz - No I am not a student so unfortunately that won't help but thanks for the great suggestion. I'm sure I'm not the oldest spudder here and I know for sure I'm not the youngest. I have started to model in Sketchup. It is a great little program which suits my needs perfectly. Now having a lin...

I thought about plaster but thought it would take too long to dry. Bondo hardening is a chemical process not drying process. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

Have ya'll seen the foam projectiles fired from the Eclipse?
I'm not familiar, sounds funny though. And really anything self inflicted that leaves a softball sized bruise without a trip to the hospital or morgue has GOT to be somewhat amusing. :)

On my very first cannon I thought I was going to be cool and go big. I did a 24" x 4" chamber with 60" x 2" barrel over / under. It had just 1 ignition gap almost all the way back to the cleanout. It was a night mare trying to get that one fueled right. It truly was a spray and pray. I think in it's...

Bondo Ammunition

Has anyone here ever made Bondo spudgun rounds? Here's my thinking: Take a few 4" long pieces of 2" PVC and pack them with Bondo. Once the Bondo hardens tap out the Bondo slug and shape it into a big freakin bullet. In my minds eye I kinda' see it as a 40mm grenade for an M203. Any thoughts?
