I can shut it off. There is a knob that you unscrew. You're filling from the wrong side of the Q.E.V. You should fill from the pilot side. Also, how do you shut off gas flow from the ASA adapter? Are you using the same ball valve for breech loading and releasing chamber pressure? If so i'm not so sure anyone's done that- and if they have they'd have to open the valve really quick for it to work properly.
