What I meant to say is that Boston didn't even notice the devices for two weeks fter they were put out. If they were bombs, terrorists would have had two weeks to decide when to blow them up.

I just want to add something to the Mooninite thing. Aperrently, Boston officials said that they reacted quickly to the threat and that this is a great example of homeland security in action. funny thing is though, It took them about two weeks to find these so called "bombs." :)

I'm not saying you should try it, but my combustion I built a year back is made of cellular core, dwv, schedual 40 pvc, and it has never blown up on me after a couple hundred shots. anyways, good luck with your first cannon Brownie45021! :)

An easy ignitor for beginers is a Colman lantern lighter. It only costs 3 or 4 bucks, plus it's easy to install and pretty reliable. I am just making the switch to push-button grill ignitors myself.

Gasoline will melt pvc over time. its like a solvent. It would work good with abs good though.
