yeah, a breech loader is a good idea. I like to use dead C batteries, or ice slugs. I have also made lead shot for it but they give a lot of drag when I shoot 'em.

The color is just gray primer. Yeah, all of the parts ARE pressure rated, I always make sure to get stuff that has a rating right there on it. I have to work something up for that dead space. Thanks for the comments guys!!

This is just one of your basic pneumatic cannons, with a modified 1" Orbit sprinkler valve. It has a 1"x24" barrel, and a 3" PVC chamber, which is 'bout 16 inches long, I know the ratio of volume is not equal, but is works like charm and I don't wanna change it so stay off my case about it.
