I have never messed with the diaphragm ,that could be tricky.

I would like to know how well this cannon performs,I have some 6" pipe ,but unless it performs much better than a 4" combustion I wouldn't waste any time or money on the project,
I would like some honest info related to the performance of a 6" combustion cannon.

One of my pneumatics has a 1" barrel, for a shotgun effect I first put in a slice of 1" wooden dowell about a quater in. thick, followed by 4 to 6 marbles, then some tissue or plastic stuffed in to hold the marbles in place ,works pretty good but spreads quite a bit.

6" pipe

I was given some 6" pvc pipe today and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if a combustion cannon built with this would outperform a 4" cannon enough to make it worth building it. I have experimented with longer pieces of 4" in the past and it seems that a 12to 16" combustion tank will outperfor...

I have a gamo shadow 1000 and a tech force 99 ,both are pretty good guns, The gamo had a very hard twang for a couple thousand shots and one day it changed in to more of a pop and not much twang,it became much easier to hits targets with it this way, I don't know if it shoots as hard as it did but I...

Big Balls

Tennis balls are fun to shoot ,but I found a ball at Wal-Mart called , Cat,dog toy. It fits nicely in a 4" barrel . The ball is constructed with about the same material as the dog balls that are tennis ball sized. So far I have had some shots of just over 500' , Not bad for the size of it, and it pro...

I have three or four cannons with 2" chambers and from 1/2,3/4,1" barrels. They ar e fun to shoot but don't have near the power of a larger cannon with say,a 4" chamber. I shoot paint balls and small spuds with them mostly. I had one that was a pistol that was pretty neat but I have since cannibaliz...

Why all the comparisons and negative remarks, jealousy perhaps, I salute any of you who build nice guns. The one pictured here would be welcome in my arsenal. Using it to entertain kids is also a plus. I do that myself sometimes ,its a blast. and the kids love it. So do I.

You can use cpvc without drilling it, The 1/2" pvc I also use is drilled with an 11/16. I have a marble cannon with a similar design to the one pictured and I have it mounted on a home made wooden stock . I installed sights on it. It's kind of long but shoots really well. My other one is an under ov...

The quietest barrels I have are the 1 1/2" by 60" for spud...

I use a short piece of metal pipe threaded on both ends at the valve , a piece of 1/2" metal pipe will not normally pass a marble so you file it in to about an inch or so with a taper so the marble gets trapped when it falls in. I connect it to either a half inch pvc drilled with an 11\16 or I use s...
