Not true in the least. I've seen 8" DWV fittings that are over 1/2" thick. The main reason we don't use DWV is because it isn't made the same way, and the socket depths are much shorter than potable water fittings.[/quote] So is it still ok to use a DWV bushing as long as both pipes are rated? (cant...

Unrated fitting question
Does the (red) fitting need to be pressure rated? It comes after the sprinkler valve and isn't connected to the air chamber. However, I'm assuming that it will still have to withstand quite a lot of pressure when all the air escapes. (It is a 1" valve connected to either a 3, 2, or 1" barrel.) The r...

I have a pretty large one, apparently it is quite hard to find. It is rated to like 160 psi and someone told me that even when it isn't modified, (which I can't because it is held together with welding), it had a larger air flow than most. (I think your talking about the wired L looking thing on my ...

Sprinkler valve Question
Is it alright to use a sprinkler valve on its side? does it lose any power or anything? I wanted to put 2 on their sides so that I can easily connect them with a t joint hose barb and some hose. Thanks.

What kind of fitting?
I looked everywhere and couldn't find a description descriptive enough so that I could be sure I had what I was looking for. (I looked on the website too). I am looking for the name of 4 different kinds of fittings. I was interested in attaching multiple barrels to 1 output, so I needed either: a sl...
