Cool, and the threads / teflon tape should be enough to hold like 100 psi of pressure?

Bike valve to endcap

I'm sure this is out there somewhere, but i've searched the forums and can't find the answer. How does one attach a schrader bike valve to an endcap? more specifically, what brand of sealant do I need to use? I have cut the valve out from a bike tire and I was thinking maybe epoxy putty to make a ba...

Thanks for all the tips! I did some research and found a wholesaler near me, and they showed me all the differences and such. As for a bell reducer, they're unsafe unless you get them in schedule 80, which are like 25 bucks each  so I just went with a 4" schedule 40 bushing that takes a 2" bu...

Need to know the difference

Ok, I saw a 2005 post that alluded to this question (so i'm really not trying to be a post whore) , but I'm still not sure o.O ... What should I use instead of the bell reducer?

Thanks for your input on both of my posts. As for the bell reducer, that's helpful to know then, but what should I use instead, in order to connect the 4-inch tank to the one-inch sprinkler valve? (or to the 2"-1" bushing)

Can a one inch tube hold pressure from a 4 inch tank?

Hi again, I was hoping that I could get some input on my almost-finished cannon. Currently, I have a 4-inch diameter, 18-inch long PVC pressure tank that attaches to a sprinkler valve via a bell-reducer, a bushing, a small piece of PVC, and a threaded bushing. I plan on sealing it all with PVC prime...

Proper sealant / glue for tire stem valve?

Hi guys, I was hoping I could get some help. I've gotten all my PVC together for pneumatic cannon with a 4 inch holding tank, and I need to get a valve on it. My first question is: Which is better, a tire valve or a bike valve? And for tire valves, a .453 rim hole or a .625 rim hole (which is a bit ...
