you would think that air rifles would be unrestricted in australia but they are classified as a Class A firearm ( air rifles, rimfire rifles (single shot), shotgun (single shot). hell BB guns are totally illegal here, you cant even get a licence for them. but that is slowly changing, FINNALY i think...

ok a semi auto air rifle is still clasified as a Class A weapon in australia, air weapons are either clasified as class A or H (A for rifles, H for pistols), but you must give the Firearms Registrar the necessary documentation to support your genuine reason for using or possessing a firearm of that ...

yes rifle scopes are legal in australia without a firearms licence. just go to a gun shop and ask for one, if you are in sydney i would recommend horsley park gun shop or malabar rifle shop ( only open on shooting days ). and yes i am 100% certain that they are legal. get the tasco scopes which are ...

while i would prefer a fully auto bb gun using an air compressor, what sniper josh is saying is correct, also note that your maximum projectile velocity will be severly limmited i would say around 120 - 200 FPS for a 0.012 g projectile (std BB gun ammunition) approx. 20FPS slower for the heavier 0.2...
