I'm yet to locate a lowes yet, but I did see an ad for it. Only problem is we don't have a car till Monday, and Monday we're going to SD, then Tuesday we're off to LV, so no more LA and taxi's are pretty expensive. I'm eating a snickers bar(105g) twice the size of the ones we have in NZ(55g) :P DUD...

There's Sears and Home Depot Food wise: You absolutely HAVE TO eat at In 'n Out And yes American restaurants do serve food in EXTREME proportions. If you're sti...

Has anyone used silicone spray? The lubricant stuff? I know it makes shiny fireballs when you spray it over a match... Unfortunately it does not =/ I tried to use all kinds of spray stuff in my house before getting Lysol. and WD-40 is just totally cruddy. Febreez didn't work for me for some reason =/

If you have someone willing to help, have them stand some distance from firing position, use a protractor and a piece of string and basic geometry to measure height. With the height, you're good to go. If you want to be really accurate, then calculus must be applied to calculate precise air resistan...

A quite accurate way of measuring muzzle velocity is actually quite simple. All you need is any stop watch accurate to 0.01 seconds and any way of pointing your cannon straight up. For most cannons, vertically mounting the cannon needs 2 strings. Attach them to the cannon at a 90 degree angle like s...

I'm really new to spudding, so reading these is quite frightening. I mean, a home made device that is loud enough to sound like a bomb. Granted, I understand why that's the case, but when I really think about it, it's scary. I just still can't believe you shot through the side of an oxygen tank. I s...

Haha, Ya half a kilo of lead IS very lethal at 150 fps. Actually, just film yourself firing a potato straight up and time how long it takes for the potato to go from ignition to landing. Divide the time by 2 then you use distance = 1/2 * 9.8 (m/s/s) * time^2 to find how far it went up. Then you use ...

Wow, and by that I don't mean World of Warcraft. That is sick. Judging from the size of the cannon and its relative dimensions, I'm going to guess you have a rather high C:B ratio. And dude, if you don't have everything solidly cemented already, I'd suggest changing the connection between the chambe...
