Re: Victorian "Air Cane" brought back to life

Beautiful stick that shoots! It amazes me that it is from the mid-19th century, and it still works, with the repairs and adaptation that you did. It is a pcp from 1860! On the other hand, I hardly saw it, I thought about making one for my grandmother, so that when they want to steal it on the street...

Re: Victorian "Air Cane" brought back to life

No sé sobre tu abuela, pero la mía definitivamente habría sido un peligro mayor para los peatones inocentes si le hubieras dado uno de estos :rollo: :D Well, I'm going to drop my black humor mouth. I'm actually going to build two of these to give to my father-in-law and mother-in-law, once the gift...

Re: Simple machine gun.

Another option that I like is a double barrel machine gun. I would only use a 5/2 solenoid valve, but with all its inputs and outputs. The guns alternate one and one when firing, because a shot occurs when the solenoid valve is activated and also, when it is disabled. With this arrangement, it is po...

Re: Simple machine gun.

Wow! in love at first sight with this pair of cannons! :D She had never seen it even in photos. Excellent choice of yours, and I agree that it can be perfectly adapted to the type of machine I designed. On the other hand, the video is very good, I mean the animations. I already subscribed to that ch...

Re: Simple machine gun.

This is the electromechanical system, which among several other things also makes this machine gun work. The servo motor is modified to rotate in one direction freely, I only use the motor and reduction gears. The potentiometer and board with electronic components were removed because they are not n...

Re: Simple machine gun.

Simple machine gun test. At the end of the video, I forgot to extract the steel bolt that acts as a ballast, and it shot out of the tube that contains the ammunition ... thankfully to the right side. He fired 60 0.23 gram 6mm rounds of airsoft, and I used auto and semi auto mode. The pressure was 7 ...

Re: Simple machine gun.

Installing the two cannons and manufacturing the ammunition magazines. I'm making 4 long tubes of 70 bbs each, to swap out while shooting. I used small ball valves, I have several, to seal the tube and be able to handle it without the bbs falling. Once fixed on the weapon, by means of a hard rubber ...

Re: Victorian "Air Cane" brought back to life

Good improvement! More than 900 fps with that lead ball? steel? ... At a short distance, say at 2 meters, you send towards the sky possibly the one who touches you.

Re: Simple machine gun.

I am going to make a video with a firing rate of no more than 6 per second. I prefer not much speed because everything is clearer to my eyes and ears. I have also tested a speed twice what I use in video, but only for testing. As I was saying, I prefer a firing rate of about 8 to 10 per second, whic...

Re: Victorian "Air Cane" brought back to life

I did not know about those numbers but my common sense tells me to be very careful, because that must hit very hard. Maybe too much for me, I don't know ... :? It's still a nice job, and the valve and modifications are excellent. :)

Re: Victorian "Air Cane" brought back to life

La investigación posterior reveló que el resorte se había deslizado sobre el hombro de la válvula, obviamente el diámetro máximo estaba demasiado cerca. That's what I mean when I say that mechanics always teach me something, when I do tests, and I think that most of the time, first there is the fac...

Re: Victorian "Air Cane" brought back to life

Mi estilo de ingeniería tiende a ser ... "optimista" ... por lo que generalmente se necesitan algunos intentos antes de hacerlo correctamente, como debería haberlo hecho en primer lugar. :rollo: In this way mechanics works, (and many other subjects of knowledge, if not all), when they are giving us...

Re: "In the world of spuds today"

Crazy project :o Thinking of assembling a steel bbs launcher, powered by a small jet engine of the compressed air-gas type. Compressed air is not used directly to power the bbs. Before, it is introduced into a combustion chamber that burns the air mixture. butane, continuously, producing a jet of ga...

Re: Rapid Fire Hybrid System

I was working to finalize and test this weapon, I think it was decent, and it shoots very well. I built a stand to store the weapon, and to use it when needed. I just fail to install the open sight, which I am building with the greatest dedication, because the barrel is a jewel, and it is very preci...
