Re: "In the world of spuds today"
You... you want to hook up a BBMG to a jet engine? That sounds like a plan, I love it! So you would have the engine running continuously and redirect the flow into the BB chamber when you want to fire? That thing is going to get hot though, I don't think epoxied fittings will last... will you be usi...

Re: Agitator for a BBMG
It's something I've often pondered but never actually made. Here are some very old (2004!) concept drawings, at the time I was interested not only in reliable feed but also having a way top control the rate of fire as well as reducing wasted air. https://i.imgur.com/OhGHs9R.jpg https://i.imgur.com/m...

BBMG detent alternative
As some people are already aware, adding an airtight detent to the breech of a BB machinegun is a good way of boosting power as it allows pressure to build up in the BB chamber before the projectile is fired, translating into higher muzzle velocities. The downside is that in most cases, a second BB ...

Re: "In the world of spuds today"
Here is my test, in this old video, but applied to an engine for an airplane. Very, very cool! I also like how your family seems willing to help with filming around devices that sound like they could explode at any moment :D Is it possible that the pressure generated inside the combustion chamber b...

Re: Rapid Fire Hybrid System
Impressive performance and also a great look
You should try filling the cans with water, although not recommended indoors, in my experience the hydrostatic shock usually pops the cap off and makes a mess

Re: Agitator for a BBMG
Interesting concepts shown in the drawings. Which of these did you try? Which one worked best? I'm afraid it's all theoretical, I never actually prototyped any of these designs. I proposed something similar here . One possibility to organize the bbs and save air, is as follows. The holding oring on...

3mm HPA protoype w/detent seal
I made a prototype to test the viability of a 3mm HPA launcher for my sentry gun project, basically a tube fed detent type launcher. Sadly the rate of fire is far higher than I expected, in spite of the tight detent, I guess it's a result of tube as opposed to cloud type feeding, which puts the BBs ...

Semiauto Nerf Rival with no moving parts.
Testing an idea I had for a semiauto tube fed gravity feed and it seems to work, air goes up into the magazine and pushes the balls back up the tube because of a small amount of air bleeding out of the top of the tube, when the pressure builds up enough the front ball pops out like a cork as there i...
