Found a little digital PSI gauge

I was out at harbor freight and saw they have this little digital PSI/flow gauge for about $15, its attached to a small regulator I was looking at it and it seems to be threaded onto the regulator with a 1/8npt. I'm going to pick up up today to use with my the 4" coaxial golfball gun I'm building.
Anybody else think up a use for it?

that might be it for high mix hybrids.. if it is able to messure liquid propane and is accurate ..

I believe it was refering to the metal stuff around it. The guage can prolly take more but I am not sure. Contact manufacturer.

160 psi can mean a lot if you build a gun from 6" PVC pipes

pressure X surface = force

The gauge will give your gun a more futuristic look, that's 100% sure

BTW Am I the only one who noticed that you pay a lot more if you buy a 'standalone gauge' ? even the cheapest gauges cost a lot more when they are sold seperatelly (I imagine that this gauge itself would cost about 15$ if it was being offered as a seperate product...

I do have some personal experience with this phenomena - I bought a gauge that is normaly used on regulators and it was about 50% cheaper than 'regular' gauges....

Yea poland I have found a 300 psi gauge in the sump pump section in lowes that was the same amount as the generic 160psi gauge in the air tools section.

I'm pretty sure the gauge part will measure pressures above 160 its just most air compressor dont go higher than 150psi, or I should say are limited to 150psi. I'll test it with my C02 rig.

I doubt the gauge will read much above the quoted 160 PSIG rating. The piezo-resistive bridge it probably uses sets the maximum pressure it'll tolerate. 100 and 160 PSIG are common ratings for these gauges. Usually the failure pressure of these sensors is about 3x the maximum working pressure. So, there a good chance the sensor will be permanantly damaged at pressure above 480 PSIG.

The gauge is digital.. so you could try to use it for hybrid fueling.
