how would you make a simple cartridge that can hold a 12 gram co2 cartridge.
This would be the equivalent of the brass part of a bullet cartridge with a main purpose of holding the projectile and the ability to be extracted

Whats a good way to make a flexible belt of ammo like a machine gun belt to feed cartridges.

thanks in advance

Don't have any co2 cartridges on hand, but if I remember correctly they fit inside of a shotgun casing well. The shotgun casing then will fit inside 3/4" sch 40 piping, the brass head has to be cut off usually.

Also unless your replicating a rifle cartridge, no reason to extract anything. Blah.....

Give us more to go on here, open ended and baseless is hard to give advice for.

-combustion/ pneumatic?
-chamber part of cartridge, or separate?

Sewing machine. Ruller or other flat object to size the loops.

 Don't tell anyone I'm giving sewing advice on a spud forum.. Shhhh.

Mark your lower cloth to the spacing between rounds. Sew the edges of the two together. Using the ruler or other spacer, make a loop in the top fabric with the loop flat (folded down) and sew at the next mark. Remove the ruler and repeat with the next loop. When done, stand up the loops and fill with ammo.

I was a bachelor for many years. I did learn to use a sewing machine while in the Navy.

I was thinking of a belt fed launcher before and thought of using tape to sitck cartridges together and make a belt...

ok, my plan was to make a co2 rifle, this woud be accomplished by using basically the mechanisms of a real bolt action firearm and the firing pin would break the seal of the co2 cartridge
I used wood glue and paper to make a cartridge which works pretty well and is pretty hard. The purpose of the casing would be to keep the co2 from sliding out and something for the firing pin to push against when striking the co2.
The projectile is the co2 cartridge itself and would leave the casing in the barrel. I hope I explained it clearly.

Could the ammo belt be made of metal and have like pins or something?
