I know, that's the annoying part. If anyone else (closer) is interested let me know! It also might be cheaper/more convenient for the machinist to buy a union locally.
If not, you might be hearing from me sometime jrrdw.

No loose clothing when operating a lathe, this guy was *very* lucky not to be injured.

Something silly I did this morning, lathing down some pressurized 8 gram CO2 cartridges so they will fit in a G&G G980 magazine...

I wouldn't do that
Meanwhile I did this: A machined WE magazine valve small enough to fit inside the gun so I can use standard AEG hi-cap from now on.

I hope I can end up came with a relatively simple "drop in" kit of these for WE and G&G GBBs. Btw I personally prefer way more G&G close bolt than the WE open bolt. The air consumption it's like 2/3 for the same fps also the hop up bucking it's the same as AEG ones. Less recoil and loudness too (which people usually do not want but I do )
What I got it's a cheap raider, don't know if the top tech ones are better in the internals though.

Since I was doing a post in another section and uploading photos, I thought I'd upload some photos of my old garage/shop while I was at it. There's some new stuff and a lot of old stuff. I'm also not the tidiest person in the world as you can see.

Is the monitor fitted with some sort of protective screen?

Also, high speed lathe porn:

Just noticed now as you spoke of an screen (so I saw the pc next to your sieg x1 mill).
Did you converted it to a 3 axis CNC!? Oh fap fap fap...
Now I'm very attempted to buy one of these and convert mine... Can you post some detailed photos of yours?

Think before you convert. CNC makes sense for series manufacture and complex shapes, but not much else.

Also, can a mod correct the spelling of "Official" in the thread title please, it's annoying.
