quick question, not a debate. Anyone know if 1.25 pvc will fit snuggly into 1.5? It'd save me a trip to homedepot and yes they do carry that size. thanks in advance.

http://www.harvel.com/pipepvc-sch40-80-dim.asp

Outer diameter of 1.25" PVC - 1.660"
Inner diameter of 1.5" PVC - 1.590"

Nope, won't fit. But you can use that chart to find sizes that will :)

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

nope but the outside of 1" couplers and end caps do, so you can take 1" couplers file off the rims and burrs and use it like small bits of pipe for whatever purpose

thats because outer thickness are not regulated by any standard only surfaces that are in contact. so if you have multiple dealers around you can see if they carry a different brand and it might work.

It won't fit snuggly by itself but rapping it with duct tape or maybe even wadding it with Cotton wool/tissues may help.

I do that all the time with my gun, but on a smaller scale.
