Have a look here, apparently it's a bit hard to find pressure rated PVC in Israel - perhaps it's restricted because of fears it might be used in improvised weapons?

If you stick to combustions you won't need pressure rated pipe

there are other materials you can use, a PET soda bottle is suitable to use as a chamber for example and very affordable.

I mean like a plastic coke bottle - you can use it as an air chamber as in this launcher. You barrel doesn't need to be pressure rated so that's not a problem.

yeah but it kind of ruining my plans hehe... like i already said, i already made a design of the thing, i was like so ready to start building it when i searched for shops i got all like your avatar JSR...
Perhaps you should have researched what was available, before making conclusive plans...Mr. Beaver wrote:yeah but it kind of ruining my plans hehe... like i already said, i already made a design of the thing, i was like so ready to start building it when i searched for shops i got all like your avatar JSR...
That's like saying i'm going to build a space ship, then being annouyed I don't have the parts... LoL
Sometimes we need to make adjustment's to work with what we have...
I experienced about the same here in Holland, though we have pressure-resistant pipe, it all different here so I had to change my designs ALOT.Mr. Beaver wrote:yeah but it kind of ruining my plans hehe... like i already said, i already made a design of the thing, i was like so ready to start building it when i searched for shops i got all like your avatar JSR...
Its better to first look whats available to you and THEN design something with that.
Gathering parts for a design without doing that is harder then the designing and the building itself.
Since the part gathering is the "limiting facor" on your creations, you should adapt your designs to that what you got and try to make the most of it.
Shipping costs to Israel might be kind of horrible though...
