*First post*

Hey everyone, just thought i'd share a couple of the ammo types i have been using the last few months for my pneumatic- i used some of the left over pressure hose from my gun and filled 3cm sections with hot glue. The other type is just pressure hose with a marble attached to the front (not glue filled)- which have greater accuracy, but obviously more expensive to make.
They are both very easy to construct and are awesome to shoot!

Jacksa, try putting nails in the hot glue, it makes a great penetrating round.

Thanks for the replies guys, yeah the damage isnt huge, the filled slugs dont penetrate nearly as much as the marbled version

Go to the tire shop and get a bucket of lead. Use the lead instead of the glue... That will do some damage!!!

sounds like a sweet idea jr, i'll have to try that! would the lead solidify before it warps the hose?

Interesting idea, I have a bunch of bits and pieces of old, holey air hose. I bet 130 lbs behind one of those marble jobs would be cool... I find double A batteries to be very keen along that line of caliber, too, though...so are cut off bolt shafts or re-bar chunks @ 3/4" wrapped w/ tape to seal the barrel.

yeh. the lead melts at a farly low temp. and it solidifys rather quickly..or you can hold the hose over water; with one end in the water; and the cold water will solidify the lead almost instantly....

@ feral_patriot

yeah the speed on the marble version is pretty impressive, i only shoot them at about 60psi, but i rekon they would be the fastest ammo type i use

@ jr

thanks mate I'll definitely do that. today i made one by using solder, but i lost it on the first shot  haha but i guess that means they work

@ ajdevi92

haha that sounds great, my mate and i love having nerf dart wars with our scoped pneumatics

i suggest you use solder for one round, and shoot it, just to see how much harder it is to make and how its damage is compared to the marble one before you go and buy a big bucket of lead. They are almost virtually the same in density and melting point.
