I finished my tennis ball cannon today and now want to change barells and shoot golf balls.So heres the deal does anyone have any sdr21 1.5 inch they would like to trade for the same amount of 2.5 sdr 21(tennis ball size)I had to buy 20 ft and only used 3 ft.Let me know and thanks

Shipping is going to be around the neighborhood of $10, $20 once you figure for both people.

Could get 20' of either size pipe for under $15. Already have both barrels, and extra in case anything comes up. So as far as I go I'd only be interested in selling it to you.

In economic reality buying it from Tractor Supply, or some other local shop would be best. When you call around ask for "class 200" before you resort to "sdr 21". It is pvc a very cheap building supply.

Question what is class 200?Is it stronger the sdr21.Last one if i buy 1.5 inch sdr21 what size would go over it to make a stronger barell.Thanks

SDR-21 is the synonymous with class 200. Personal experience being that in "the business" they call it class 200, not SDR-21.

There is a difference. One is 160 PSI and the other 200 PSI. I have tennis ball barrels with both sizes. One can be gravity loaded, the other takes a gentle push.

Interesting. From what I read both are rated at 200 PSI, but unaware they do have slight dimensional differences. SDR-21 with an ID of 1.7", and class 200 with an ID of 1.72".

Another thing is each time I've asked for the class 200 pipe, I've been given the SDR-21 pipe. Odd.

On fit, it is variant on the manufacture, and less variance as far as batches go. Cresline SDR-21 for instance fits golf balls perfectly (similar to holding soda in a straw by covering the top, you can cover the top of the pipe with a golf ball falling by gravity and sometimes it will stall. Without any tampering it still slowly falls down the barrel.) Genova SDR-21 on the other hand fits the balls very tightly, after shooting for a while it'll ware down. I've bought other brands, but they are either sleeved (where I can't see anymore, been sold, or on friends launchers)

SDR-26 has 160 psi rating. May be considered a class 160?

Note 1.680 is minimum golfball diameter.

This is correct.

SDR-21 = 200 psi rating = 'Class 200'
SDR-26 = 160 psi rating = 'Class 160'
SDR-41 = 100 psi rating = 'Class 100'

Thanks for the info.Has anyone ever sleeved this pipe with anything other than scheduled 80 pipe.I cant buy schedule 80 pipe local.Also trying to keep the cost down.I found the sdr at my local tractor supply.thanks again
