Does anybody know how I can make a mag for this design... It needs to be able to be made without machining or anything like that and I don't want it to look ghetto. Thanks

I just made my magazine with a sheet of 22ga weldable sheet metal bent on a brake. For the final angle I put it into a vise and manually bent it. There will be an open edge that could be welded or glued.

I wish I still had all those meccano sets (or rather USSR version of meccano) that I had when I was 6 or 7 yrs old... damn I could use it for a lot of stuff.. inluding creating mags

any idea where can I get these things (cheaply?)

Go to nerfhaven and check out boltsniper's mags.

actually, boltsniper (in some later versions) used airsoft mags with all the mechs removed, which has the added convenience of a spot for the mag release to hold onto

As stated, use sheet metal, its easy enough to work with. Or, if you want this looking real smug I would be happy to explain to you how to cast it from an alloy such as ZAMAK, I spent roughly 30$ on this(including furnace, crucible and ALL tools, fuel and metal) and am VERY happy indeed that I did.

I probably won't get to this launcher for a while because I'm busy with some others, but when (if) I do, I will :)
