I was recently given some heavy aluminum extrusions that I thought would make a fantastic barrel for a higher pressure spud gun. Theyre a 2.5" unequal hex extrusion, 1.75" bore and 10ft long. I believe they're 6063-T6, the thinnest point (between bore and wall) is 3/8", making for a heavy wall at the thinnest point.
My initial thought was a hybrid gun. Any ideas on what sort of pressure I could safely use? And any suggestions for general build style here? I'd hate to use these for a run of the mill gun
