Hey Guys,

So, I finally finished a lathe I'd been working on to make piston valves after talking to the "Pimp". Here are some pics, to save bandwidth they are on my server.

Thats some good craftsmanship, but wouldn't a regular wood lathe be better and last longer?

or forget it, that thing rocks.

I think i have to build one now.... thats so cool. Does it work well? Does the work on it look like a real lathe?

That is GUN.

Roughly how much did it cost you all up? doesn't look like it would have been that much

Me 'Pimp', or another 'Pimp'? (I am going to feel dumb if I am the mentioned 'Pimp'.)

Nice woodworking, and construction. Personally I would have incorporated a bit more metal working, although that may not be available to you. Just a concern with tolerances, and all.
