I was planning to make one with a barrel about 10 ft and chamber about 8 ft using rainbird solenoid valve like on a p.a.c cannon but due to lack of resources I couldn't. And I am planning a special loader smaller than revolver X and easier than auto loaders. WINK WINK NUDGE NUDGE SAY NO MORE
Pointless demolition is my mission!
hey to all,ive been building spudguns for about a year now and the only problem i have is the fact that my neighbours cannot deal with the constent bangs/explosions{cos thats wat it does}i am need of help big time!!!!!.....ive tried drilling holes in the muzzle to realise gases as projectile hurtles out,no good,ive made baffles but thay got blow off in the fist shot.im all out of ideas plz some 1 HELP ME

Make your barrel longer - a .7:1 or .6:1 chamber:barrel volume ratio will make it quite quiet.
i've got an idea to use 4 air tanks of 4 feet long, and have a 10 foot barrel
tanks about 3 inche in diameter ,
barrel about 1/2 inch in diameter
the tanks would be positioned in a square pattern, and the barrel coming through the middle.

3quarters - that would be a utter waste of tank volume. Now, a system with 2" ball valves and (duel?) supah(s) feeding a 3" barrel, breach loading would be cool - it'd allow you to fire off up to 4 shots in fairly rapid order.
im trying to design a full auto magazine for a repeating-style pneumatic. It would be of single barrel design attached to two independently operating chambers that fill and dump air in opposition to each other.
Schematically this is possible, through a system of electronically operated solenoids, so that isnt the problem.
Ive been looking through this thread and havent really found any good brainstorming ideas, so here is one;
:..: "Using only PVC, brass or copper fittings, and using a minimum of machining, how could we design a gravity, or spring fed magazine?"
Anyways, my idea so far is limited to a design closely resembling that of a paintball repeater, however i fear that this would require skills in machining that i do not have or do not have access to.
If anyone knows of prior posts about full auto cannons please point me in their direction[/u]
