and whats wrong with SUVs? just cause they'll ruin the environment for latter generations aint my problem lol.
To be honest I couldn't give a monkey's either - check out what John Oliver has to say about the environment about 1 minute 20 seconds into this clip from mock the week:

"Let's not spend what is quite a lot of money on hypothetical children" - use freon!

... but the point is that a poor man walking to a river for water isn't harming the environment as much as someone driving to Walmart in an SUV.

Its funny that the ford excursion is the largest SUV ever built, and its only available in america, that might say something.

When I work at a racing track for my friends dad, We work on the gate all day and we just gaze in amazement at the size of the American Utes and SUV's. They're huge, some of their side mirrors are about 80cm(30") long! We still wonder why you need such big Utes when most of New Zealand is country and Farms and we get by just fine and dandy. Though I live in the city so I don't really know.

Cause the bigger the truck, the bigger your dick. Nah just kidding, but usually people have them for work trucks or have a large family or lot's of people to transport or lots of cargo, or because they are selfconcios about themselves or their size (not always the case, some people just have them cause SUV's and trucks are cool).
I have an explorer cause I'm so big (6' 5", 200 pounds) that anything smaller i don't fit in comfortably (nees up to my chest..ok exageration but you get the point).

You are correct in everything you said but that is not the whole problem. I can't really give you an answer, a lot of the squatters are illegal immigrants. The South African squatters are very lazy as well, no motivation. Like you said, only caring about the present. AIDS is a huge problem because they like to make babies so much, they can't support families but they don't care. They leave the children anyway. That leads to even more poverty,( people being uneducated, can't afford anything), thus the destruction of the enviroment and killing of all the animals, spreading of AIDS, increased crime rate, over population, pollution (severe), ect.

Africa is truly F***ed. There is nothing that can be humanely done to fix it.

But it doesn't matter really. An ice age is coming and that can't really be stopped. Natures way of correcting itself. How it works is before each ice age the co2 content of the athmoshere has peaked, they can tell this by looking at the layers of ice in the Antarctic, the ice being a record of major geological events and all. They can track what happened very acurately with the ice, they can see when the co2 content in the athmoshere has peaked in the past just before each ice age. Where we stand currently the co2 content is off the charts. What does that mean? One big ass ice age.
Scientists have determined that an ice age can occur in 10 years and guess one could occur within the next few hundred years. This is all caused by global warming (irroncially will make everything very cold) and global waming can't really be stopped because America (no offense), the biggest contributor to global warming isn't cooperating to help prevent it. (not only America). After that we will all be dead, leaving some other species to take over.

Hell, I am not saying my opinion is right, I may even be wrong, so no need to flame me. I don't even know if those facts are correct but one thing is for sure, if left in its current state the world is doomed. I can't do anything to stop it.

Meh.

Doomsayers are funny. But we kind of are fucked if we continue on our path. I think its in our nature however, we need a challenge to rebuild from and that challenge will be when this supposed ice age comes along, or we get angry at someone and start WWIII with of course WMD. So either way, we are fucked. Enjoy your life as it is, get drunk, get laid etc. Cause it will all end soon enough.

Demon, did you see Al Gore's an inconvenient truth? He's the authority on all things.Bummer he was to stupid to win in the presidential election.According to him the world's problems exist on Bush's shoulders.Hey,lets blame it on Bush. Now on a serious note.Gore says we are all going to burn in a co2 induced cooker.Wonderful,Canada will be prime real estate. And San Francisco will be under water, sounds like paradise to me.I think it is funny since the Earth goes through stages of Cooling and Warming every so often.30yrs. ago it was how global cooling was going to kill us all.I say let it be, plant some more trees. The Earth is dynamic it will clean up the Co2 problem. If that is even the cause.
The Atlantic is seeing an increase in algae blooms, conveniently the Co2 emissions tests for Al Gore's movie were taken in the middle of the Atlantic.Sound a little odd?And i think China is a bigger contributer to pollution than the US.The Chinese have more coal burning plants and no environmental laws. The most pollution comes from 3rd. world countries not the industrialized nations.America is working on pollution issues,we have been since the 70's.It just so happens the Kyoto treaty did nothing anyways.

^^Amen brother...lol.
But does it really matter, humans have survived all kinds of sh*t, so i serisosly doubt all of this changing will have a serious effect on humans, we will survive! Plus by the time all the major stuff starts happening, I'll probably be dead or living way the hell above sea level, old and about to die.

Cool, I really liked UCO but I went to OSU because UCO's engineering program isn't accredited (but they are working on it)

I went to Deer Creek (Edmond) for HS. Where did you go?
