We always call them nose wheelies. Longest I've held one on a bicycle is like 40-50 yards on a nice gradual downhill slope. Once you get the balance point down - you can pull a nose manual - guys can pull these as long as they want - look up some flat land tricks.

"Endo" always remind me of the unsuccessful nose wheelie - aka just fliping end over end.

While funny, it takes a while to build up... for a more instant gratification of robbin based humor try this...

Endos, I've done those.

Down a steep hill at about 30mph (aren't I nice to you imperial unit users) on a mountain bike, decide I want to stop, pull the front brake.

Dropping a mountain bike on your liver after being flipped and slammed into the ground feels good. Especially when the point of the seat hits your liver first.

Even better when you were 8 at the time.

All this talk about lawnmowers, once I get this beauty going, I'll crack out the old ride on. It's got a 10HP Briggs & Stratton!!

The diesel Kubota zero turns at my old job not only could wheelie, but could also throw bricks completely through windshields (thankfully of parked, vacant vehicles).

I drove a bobcat for a little while some years ago, that could wheelie too, bit scary with those things.

Once you get your head (or rather feet) around controlling the bucket, you can throw stuff too. Damn fun.

It was one of the few times on television when I wasn't secretly hoping inside that it would blow up, it started off so well and it was genuinely painful to watch it crash :-/

The solid rocket booster separation was f*cking awesome. I'm sort of glad it didn't separate from the external tank as I doubt it would have done anything but plummet straight to the earth, at least this way we can still dream it would have gone to plan.

Did you see the cut when the rocket hit the ground? I think they filmed some 1000lb bomb that was being tested at the military base that day (in the production notes for the episode) and inserted the explosion when the rocket hit the ground. Though, I don't think a 1000lb bomb makes a large fireball...

I love James' (and the rocket guys) reaction, reminded me a bit of spudgunning.
