Haha, I only smoke like that when I'm really pissed.

Despite spending a log time rolling, I'm absolutely shit at it, and I can't roll while I'm drunk. Started nicking the GF tailors, then got lazy. Still enjoy rollies, but I find a lot of papers taste disgusting to me. And unfortunately there's bugger all choice in rolling tobacco here, Drum, Marlboro, Longbeach, White Ox (which I don't mind). All 50g packs here are around $40, except White Ox, around $36.

Well a slab of Heineken is about $35, and 6 packs are about $14. If I do the sorta homebrew, it's $11 for a kit, $3 for sugar, and $1 for caps. I get 23 litres of beer per month per brewing container, about 70 bottles. That keeps me in beer usually, but I'm going to start another set, redo it every two weeks, lotsa beer. Gonna get into distilling soon too.

Speaking of spirits, Smirnoff usually goes for $30-35. Decent scotch starts at $50, my favourite, Glenfiddich, is about $75.

Haha, that's calling Huey and Ralph here, or a technicolour yawn.

Can you explain these from a lab tech's view? I understand there's a fluid capsule and a heating element, but I'm considering buying some bulk tobacco and running an extraction to refill and getting the amount of nicotine I like. I have access to a HPLC so I can check the amounts of nicotine, so I don't kill myself with it

Been watching too much footage from Syria lately... some dramatic and also funny moments here, along with a lot of "ALLLLLLAH HU AKBAR!!!!" whether they've just destroyed a tank or their defective RPG blew up in their face...
You an tell just by intensity of the conflict as well as amount of weaponry (did I see a mk19? @22:00) that someone is pumping millions of $$ in that war
ALLLLLLAH HU AKBAR!!!!
It seems the phrase has almost the same usage as 'kurwa' (/kurva/) in Polish... that is it suits every situation

I believe I can get at least 15 different kinds of rolling tobacco in every store here
They also have a nice collection of rolling papers, I usually smoke rice papers or mascotte special. Rizzla red papers are like smoking newspaper hehe
50 gram packs go for about 8,50€. If I had to pay $40 I would stop instantly..
The prices for alcoholic drinks are ridiculous too :?

There's a few tobacconists around that I can get speciality paper at, been meaning to get some 100mm papers. There's a few more sorts around, and the good tobacconists in the big cities should stock some decent rolling tobacco, but at $25 for the 30g packs, it's not cheap to try everything.

I was using Tally-hos, then tried Rollies papers and nearly puked, tasted like paper. I do miss rollies, might grab a pack again soon.

Booze isn't terrible here, shitty vodka is $18, and that's all you need really. However I've had an interesting proposal from a friend to visit the US, and he's trying to get me to stay, considering Reds are $5.50 a pack there, I think I'll die of lung cancer by 30. Without trying I can do two packs a day.

Basically you have a cottonwool-like synthetic fibre soaked in propylene glycol, in which the nicotine is dissolved. A hot wire runs through the fibre, when you inhale a flow switch briefly closes the circuit.

Not sure if it's worth the hassle of making your own given the cheap supplies available online.

I don't think so, whatever it was it didn't last long.

Having had a Polish colleague I can confirm that I have heard the word used in all situations :D

Ah, clever. Any recommendations for brands? And I didn't realise the variety of flavours, I expected a generic JPS Red sort of flavour, not Camels and Bensons and Marlboros, oh my.

My only experience is from here: http://www.e-cig.com

The batteries are a little touch and go, I've had some burn out fairly quickly, but they're cheap so it doesn't matter.

They encourage you to roll your own too: http://www.e-cig.com/knowledge-base/howtodiyeliquid/

This is the model I used: http://www.e-cig.com/starter-kit/e-ciga ... garette-e9

I used them to quit smoking. Went from 18 to 6 mg juice and then quit vaping as well. I used an eGo battery with a variety of cartomizers and clearomizers. I got all of my juice here. I suggest caramel apple and extreme ice.

Hehe my vaping suddenly stopped when some deuce stole my battery in a train at Amsterdam :D Though designing a new one with Lab, this one will have variable voltage control and screen to show the exact voltage I'm running with

The more I look into it, it seems the eGos are a good call, think I'll go for one, good substitute, and I know someone who'll be interested if I don't care for it.

Jake, I'm guessing that's certainly not for a nicotine addiction

Maybe not......For 30 years I did 2-1/2 packs a day of "Marlboro Reds" and recently treated myself to a heart attack.

Zoos, if you're around my age, I smoked a about a pack a day for ~5 years, quit fairly recently, and am steadily approaching my 3-mile time from high school. :P

Velocity:, I saw that post, reminds me, how did you pull up afterwards? And I don't plan on this being a lifetime habit, I know everyone says that though.

Mark, I daresay you've got a few years on me, though I've been smoking on and off a bit for around 4 years, started at 15. My 3 mile time is still around 2 minutes, that said smoking in the GF's car (call me a hypocrite, we both smoke in hers, but I don't smoke in mine), it tends to slow my driving by about 5mph.

I do get your point though, I occasionally have a break from smoking for a week (not willingly), and I do feel a bit better for it, but it doesn't make me feel terrible yet. I can still do an 8 minute mile for 2 miles, which isn't great, but not woeful either, considering most of this country can't do it.
