Actually, I feel better than ever. I was fortunate in that the Cardiologist in the E.R. that day is a close friend of mine. Upon Hospital check-out he explained that the body requires 72 hours +/- to kick the physical addiction to nicotine, but the mental addiction is forever. He knew that I'd been trying for years to kick cigs, so he helped me out. He decided to keep me unconscious in the hospital for three extra days & nights so I would sleep through the physical withdrawals. IT WORKED! I certainly wish you success with quitting, but I know how difficult it can be.
