I drive a '96 Ford Ranger. Got it used and so far it works great. Manual transmission, though, so I had to take a while to learn how to drive one. Good skill to know, though.

first off, you all make me feel OLD, all you all talking about how youre about to get your license and permits and all this. i got my license in feb of '03! I drove a built b16 turbo civic for a while, but now i have a 97 prelude with s2k wheels. Im saving for a 1937 chevy 1/2 ton project truck :)

pics of cars go to myspace.com/claybob86

to mihlrad: its an eclipse gt, its not that fast..... the previous gen GST's werent even that fast.... like 210 crank.

and to Pete Zaria: Im pretty big into cars, er, well.... a whole lot in to cars :) and about putting on a 2jzgte kit on your car. Do you mean the kit from a tt supra? bc thats not a very good idea. the compression on the 2jzge is very high. in the upper 10s i believe. the best way to do a 2jz NA-T is to throw on a 3mm headgasket, arp headstuds, then boost the nuts off of it. you can get 400+ wheel EASY at 15+ lbs of boost. Id also recommend getting a single turbo, something small that can spool quickly and still make efficient boost! if you wanna talk cars hit me up man!

The engine I have in it right now is a 2jz non-turbo, 10.5:1 compression. I believe it's the same block as the supra turbo. I'll get the serial number and check. I've been told by my mechanic friends that I can add the standard Supra turbo kit, which I can get reasonably inexpensively. I'll consider the headgasket and headstuds though, that's not a bad idea either way. I don't intend on going over 10lb boost, I want this engine to last to 150k miles (has 60k on it now). Plus, I already have issues getting the power to the pavement - this car likes to spin the wheels quite a bit, being front wheel drive. I'm concerned about how much more horsepower the stock transmission will handle... Anyway, AIM me @ petezaria if you feel like it.

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

and pete, btw. i got to thinking today. it went over my head when you said you had an es300. i saw 2jz and thought everything was fine. you dont have a 2jz, the 2jz's are in line 6's. you have the 3litre V6, its a 1mz.
