If it doesn't cut, then it really isn't a knife. It's just a knife shaped piece of steel.warhead052 wrote:Nah, my mom would kill me if I got a bigger knife... This one is going to be used as a prop right now, its dull enough to where I can squeeze my hand around it and pull it and it won't even leave a mark. (that's also what she said hahaha.) After the show though its going to be sharpened.

Knife is a very, VERY wide term. I wouldn't say it's not a knife, it's a prop-knife.
Lab, correct me if i remember wrong, but really, was some douche shredding cans with that knife i made for you, and it still stayed razor sharp?

Made that yourself? Nice!
Haven't made any tomahawks, because people here said that i should stay with Nordic tools
BTW, roughly forged and sanded a 15cm leuku blade today, i might be able to finish the forging tomorrow

Very nice tomahawk!!! Me likey!!!
Go Bruins!!!!
Nah. It's a Cold Steel (used to be) spike hawk. Didn't really have a need for the spike, but I did want a pole, so I just cut it off. Blued the blade, worked the handle, and viola. I do a lot of camping and bushcraft type stuff and this blade is just about the only one I need.
Got another one coming though. Cold Steel makes okay tomahawks, but I wanted a custom one. It'll probably take about a couple of weeks for the smith to finish it.

I absolutely love this thread and couldn't bear to see it die yet . Just thought I'd do an update on knives i]I've been acquiring. I recently picked up a delica 4 ffg , I was also sent 2 benchmades for free by a very generous friend of mine, and a Tapio Wirkkala puukko from another guy I know. Expect tons of pics when they arrive.
Yeah, it's that important.
