It's typically when you're older than 18 that you have the resources to really take this hobby to new levels ;)

Veginator- If your lucky you will get to be my age and older.
Remember: The only thing that seperates the men from the boys is the price of their toys. Don't forget it, you are now what you will be in 50 yrs. Small things will change but the die is cast = You are you all ready!!

Jackssmirkingrevenge- Ya you are right, I can take it to a different level
It is a little about the money, it is more about the tools and the knowlege
to use them. I've been a carpenter for thirty yrs. I used a lot of that experience to build my last launcher. My first gun was just like a lot I've seen here in the last 8 months, crude and wrong . I was so excited making my first I was in a hurry and commited the biggest sin NOT PRESSURE RATED. But I have learned and so have most others.
I was going to post L7 gbl then pcguy announced the build off so it gave me a long time to work out the bugs.
And yes it looks like I made the #2 combustion

Well, since I would feel left out and insignificant (no comment) if I didn't post here with everybody else, I turned 14 in the merry month of...February. I live in Nor'Eastern Texas, in Tornado Alley.

Oh, and the reason we liek to make fun of new jersey people is becuase they're so funny. They drive like maniacs, swear like sailors, have funny noses, and have funny accents. I'm not trying be mean, just saying what the national opinion of you people is. (My mom's side of the family is from NJ, my dad's side is from Mass.)

i was 16 when I started, the years before I wasted making model aircraft until I discovered that making something to blow holes in stuff was far more gratifying that building a delicate structure and watch it flutter around :D

As soon as I get my adjustable Co2 regulator and install a tire chuck, I'll be making a bunch of single shot LAW's to hand out to my teammates in paintball. 10-20 people (on just one team) running around with shoot and toss launchers loaded with paintball grenades and nerf rockets  .

I was 8 when i built my first pneumatic,
12 when i almost died from an exploding 5 gallon jug,
14 when i discovered the wonders of flash powder and explosives
15 when i built my first combustion and temporaly lost my eyebrows and hair,
16 (current age) when my mom and her side of the family freaked and tryed to permantly ban me from making cannons(FEAR and my current projects with explosives played a part). They failed miserably though.

oh yeah and i live in santa fe new mexico, which has got to be the most hippy-dippy, drugged up, f*cked up, worst drivers ever, liberal place on earth (no offense to any one).

haha yeah I'm from South Australia, we haven't exactly got the best reputation behind the wheel; we're known to be rude, cut people off, road rage problems etc etc etc
Queensland is probably the state over here which is most known for it's druggies and hippies (I'm not saying it's every Qld'er).
....and they talk funny; eg skeeuwl (school), where we say skoowl
haha accents crack me up
