"bully in the ally", just kidding.
there are some songs by korn that sound simple. my friend plays bass and his first songs were korn. alot of them are very complicated, but some are fairly simple and are a continuing beat, so once you get it you can play the whole song.
what ever you play, i wish you luck.

Seeing as your avatar is from the Offspring, learn Dirty Magic. Or listen to a bunch of Audioslave, probably 4 out of 5 of their songs have cool bass lines.

Ozzy Osbourne - No More Tears.
Great song with simple but awesome bass.

I play bass. I woulod suggest the old Red Hot Chili Peppers stuff, considering Flea is the worlds best bass player
.
He has some
really complicated/fast/insane/woahohoho songs, but some arent too bad to learn. What really nice though, is that they sound good on their own, without any other instruments.
Examples:
-This is the place
-The pea song
-Throw away your television (quite hard)
-Suck my kiss
Otherwise the bassline to Nirvana's Teen Spirit is really easy and sounds cool.
Just dont get boring "one bar change" songs where its 4 beats on one note, move, 4 beats next note! E.g. ACDC's thunderstrike is just 2nd fret top string
throughout the song! No change!

Well, you probably haven't heard of this band, and you'll probably think I'm an idiot, but I think a good one is Baseline by Bleach.
Also, Collide, Falling Into Black, and Energy by Skillet all have some good bass. Prety much anything recent by Skillet really.
Ah, and "Move" and "Everyone Like Me" by Thousand Foot Krutch, I'm having a hard time finding tabs for them though.

I play bass, I've been playing for about 2 years. My favorites/Good songs to learn are...
Money- Pink Floyd (Easy)
You Really Got Me- Van Halen (Easy, except the mini bass solo's throughout, listen to it and you'll see what I mean)
Welcome to the Jungle- Guns N' Roses (Easy-Medium)
Sweet Child O' Mine- Guns N' Roses (Medium, I really like the beginning bass line on this one)
My Generation- The Who (Chorus= Easy, The 4 bass solos= Medium-Hard) I love this one, it's a classic, the bass solos are pretty Old School Bitchen'. lol
YYZ- Rush (Hard-Impossible) All I have to say about this one is WOW. Listen to it and you'll understand why it's really hard. (It isn't the hardest though) You have to have fast fingers to play this one. It has the fastest bass line that I'VE ever heard.

Well, I don't play my basses too much anymore, but I have about 6 years of guitar/bass experience... anyhow, I would recommend:
"Would" by Alice in Chains
"Calm Like a Bomb" by Rage Against The Machine (the intro is pretty badass)
anything by the Red Hot Chili Peppers... and as noname stated, Audioslave is an excellent source of simple, cool basslines... oh and No Doubt has some really good bass too, if you can get past the largely feminine nature of the band...
