So I called up my ISP "Charter" after seeing that they were capping my internet speed at 2meg. The last 2 days I have been downloading 2 important business files (assassins creed and GRID) which are 6 gigs each. Well anyways they noticed I was using a lot of bandwidth and that is why they capped it. However they did not want to admit that they capped my speed. My speed is supposed to be 5meg. So the lovely support gal "recalibrated my modem". So she gave it a boost to compinsate for my bandwitdh loss. Well lets just say I am now getting 10meg from now on.
So I went from getting ripped to getting accidentally awesome bandwidth.
Side note: I did this sweet kong jump downtown today (free running.) Then when i was tired and sore when i got home, my wonderful gf gave me a message.
So today is a good day.

This is a kong to a precision, but I was trying to find a wall that was at the same height so this video is the closest i could find. I did the first part, except I didnt land on a ledge like that... I just cleared it.
I'll try to find you a different/better video.

I wish I had such good days! Though my internet speed is already very high I believe.
How did she "recalibrate" your modem? Did someone come to your house to do that? If so, then it should be possible to do it yourself
Do you get that 10meg forever or just for a month or so?

Nah, it was just an adjustment by the ISP to limit of extend the bandwith he gets. In a valiant effort to speed up my internet I installed some third party software on my old linksys, brought my speed from 5 megs down to 9 megs down, then reinstalled the original firmware because my gaming was slower. Now the piece of shit doesn't even work

Flips are pretty scary in my opinion. I just started on flips. It took me ages to find a place in my spread out lil rural town to practise . So what was the good news from ya female companion?

Funny note: I used to have a co-worker who was into all that free-running stuff. Anyway, me and him were pretty good pals (despite everybody else at work calling him a lunatic or "Raptor man" behind his back (not a compliment)), and one day he ran up behind me and jumped up onto a curb...
And busted his ass.
I didn't laugh out of respect for his (probable) pain, but I was truly dying inside.
My "free-running" is crawling through a paintball field in full BDU on a 94 degree day. Much more fun in my opinion.
But, anyways, congratulations on your internets. I would make a snide joke about what you were really downloading, but I doubt those productions get up to 6 gB.

Are you a Ninja or something? Just wondered.
I heard a funny thing that the ninjas used to plant a tree and jump over it hundreds of times every day until it grew and by then they could jump like way high by the time it grew tall!
Looks like a sport for those less fortunate to have a skateboard but perhaps more usefull to me.
How do vids load if you still have a modem? Does it work better when people paste them? I used to work for an ISP, (first experience with internet) so I am a Little spoiled I guess.
BTW How's the book coming along? I got some ideas I could e-mail you if you're still writing it. 8)

I tried free running with a few of my friends, But we got picked up by the cops, this senile old lady thought we had stolen some thing from her yard, I used to me high jump champ at school, with less than 3m running space i can clear 1.5 meters easily, up to a maximum of about 1.8(if its a wall/gate/fence), so i was dared to clear her garden wall, which i did, and then did the same back... so why would i jump the wall steal something and jump back, if the gate was open, because i wasn't stealing....

Front flip, forward hand spring over ledges, round offs over ledges and square offs over ledges. I can also wall ride and wall ride to precision. The current trick I am working on is a handspin and a palmspin. Both me and imortal87 are both doing free running and we go together all the time.
It is great exersize and is a really healthy way to get out of the house. I have yet to get the cops called on us and I guess that is because we do most of it at this public underground/above ground parking lot.
lol its even higher than the speed test I did last night....
