Very nice.

Not to nitpik, but it isn't "gatling" it's a revolver. "Gatling" implies that the individual guns reload themselves. A gun with multiple preloaded chambers mounted on a drum like arrangement is a revolver.

I am not sure about this. A gatling uses rotating barrels, that is pretty much the concept. A revolver rotates the chambers, there is only one barrel.

But I named it "Gatling" because the six tubes that hold the ammo really look like a Gatling, don't you think?

it's pretty impressive...I am afraid that it takes more time to load and fire more shots with it once you use up all 6 rounds

not exactly something I am interested in but I can see that you are good at what you're doing

ohh btw you've got nice garden

That is really cool. Immagine how much easier it would be to load if the back of those loading tubes were magnetic? You wouldn't need to use a table and you could easily load while having fun out in the field. Great invention.

As usual, very inventive and a great video and explanation.

Too bad, German laws don't allow you to support that beast.

Great work Joerg!

I am almost finished with a mono pod slingshot design.

Nothing to hold up and with a trigger.

That's a great idea. I may try it soon!

We need to combine these weapons. A six-shooter, auto revolving, with the power of five Thera Band silver bands!

Wouldn't it be easier if you had just one " loader" but wich provides multiple shots??

In other words..a tubular magazine, taking a ball out for each shot..?

My rubber bandgun could be made to hold a magazine...

Easier, yes. Faster, no. Most of the time reloading is spent with grabbing the flapping pouch, straightening it, and putting the ball in. Three or four seconds easily.

Very nice. One question though, when you are pulling back on any given band(?), do you have any problems with the rotation mechanism wanting to rotate? Do you think it would be worth trying to have a locking mechanism to lock the barrel?

Look at the video one more time.

Joerg does not seem to have any barrel locking problem.

A shot in under 3 seconds.

That's fast.

The only problem is if he pulls back the wrong way, the projectile could hit the ammo holder, ricochet back and hit him
Yeah, it's that important.

Totally awesome slingshot!
(And shooting as well,again).
Hope you got a patent on that particular design.

Seems like with magnets you could add a small magazine on each tube and get more shots somehow.

Any plans on selling those soon?
...If so where could I order one?

Thanks Joerg!
